

Biographical Note for Lucien Steil
Lucien Steil was born in Brazil two years before the construction of Brasilia. He studied Architecture and Urbanism in Paris where he got his diploma in 1980. He collaborated with Maurice Culot and Leon Krier at Archives d'Architecture Moderne in Brussels (1981-1983) and started an independent practice in Luxembourg in 1984. He is a resident of Luxembourg and a citizen of many places. Since 1980 has been sharing his activities between practice and academia and has been involved in many exhibitions, lectures, publications, projects and building productions.
