Architecture Ink charges a flat advertising rate per month based upon page and position.

Banner Ads should be 120 pixels wide and under 30k. For other sizes contact Architecture Ink. Banner location is on the left vertical margin, which is a high visibility area. The paragraph below and accompanying graphic, from Google's AdSense web site, illustrate the relevance of ad positioning:

Certain locations tend to be more successful than others. The “heat map” below illustrates these ideal placements on a sample page layout. The colors fade from dark orange (strongest performance) to light yellow (weakest performance). All other things being equal, ad placements above the fold tend to perform better than those below the fold.

MAIN NAVIGATION PAGES [except The Weekly Tirade page]
A banner ad at the top of the left margin of Main Navigation Pages are $15.00 per month.

THE WEEKLY TIRADE NAVIGATION PAGE
This page contains links to the current and past issues of The Weekly Tirade. A banner ad at the top of the left margin of this link page is $20.00 per month.

CURRENT WEEKLY TIRADE PAGE
There is a maximum of one banner ad at the top of the left margin of this page. A banner ad at the top of the left margin of The Weekly Tirade page is $5.00 for the week that the tirade is current. The banner ad will be continue to be run for an additional 3 weeks at no additional cost.

CURRENT MONTHLY CONTENT PAGES
Each month, there are 10-12 new articles posted on the "Fresh Ink" page. A banner ad on any of these content pages is $10.00 for the month(s) that the content is current. When this information is archived to the "Past Issues" section, rates are reduced to $5.00 per month.

ALL OTHER PAGES
For all other linked pages that have banner ad space available, the rate is between $10.00 - $20.00 per month depending on whether the information appears on second or third tier page. A discount is available for multiple banner ads running during the same month. Contact Architecture Ink for a quote.

CONTENT RESTRICTIONS
All banner ads are run at the discretion of the editors at Architecture Ink. All banner ads must be in good taste. Ads for adult sites are not permitted. Architecture Ink reserves the right to review all banner advertisements and reject or discontinue them at their discretion.
